Handball match have 16 players and almost 30min and 15 min for each. Teams switch sides of the court at halftime, as well as benches. For youths the game duration is:
2 x 25 minutes at ages 12 to 16.
2 x 20 minutes at ages 8 to 12.

If a decision must be reached in a particular match and it ends in a draw after regular time, there are at maximum two overtimes of 2 x 5 minutes with a 1 minute break each.
